However, individuals who have a Tata Neu Plus credit card are going to get 1% Neucoins if he made any UPI transactions by using Tata Neu Plus UPI ID.

Upcoming changes in the HDFC Bank Credit Cards

The upcoming changes apply to the different transaction categories. Some of them are listed below.

  • Fuel transactions: Transaction below or equal to ₹15,000 will be free from any fee but if an individual crosses this transaction limit then he will pay 1% fee on the per transaction amount capped at ₹3,000.
  • Educational Transaction: Due to the changes educational transaction is going to face a 1% fee on the per transaction amount capped at ₹3,000 if you made any transaction through third party apps. It is important to know that there is no transaction fee if you made it directly through school or college website or with their POS machines.
  • International transaction: if an individual makes  international or cross currency transactions then the per transaction is going to apply 3.5% markup fees.
  • Utility transaction:  There are no transaction fees that are going to apply  on payments less than ₹50,000 due to the changes in the utility transactions but transactions which cross this limit will see a  1% fee on the per transaction amount capped at ₹3,000.
  • Rental transaction: if an individual makes a Rental transaction through CRED, Paytm, Mobikwik, and freecharge (also known as third-party apps) then according to the upcoming changes he is going to spend 1% fee on the per transaction amount capped at ₹3,000.
  • Rewards Redemption: According to the new changes individuals need to pay a redemption fee of ₹50 If the Redeeming reward for Cashback (statement credit).
  • Finance Charges: Individuals who use the revolving credit facilities a  finance charge of 3.75% monthly is going to apply from the transaction date till the outstanding amount is cleared. The finance charges are going to be the same monthly at 1.99% for a few credit cards such as infinia, BizBlack Metal, diners black, etc.

What are the upcoming changes in the late payment fees?

Based on the outstanding amounts, the late payment fee structure is going to be amended by HDFC bank officials. The transaction fee ranges between ₹100 to ₹1300. The below table shows the outstanding amount and revised fee or charges.
