NEET PG 2024 Counselling
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has announced the NEET PG 2024 result for admission to MD/MS courses on 23 August 2024. The authority conducted the exam on 11 August 2024 and now after the result announcement the candidates are waiting for counselling.
The MCC will look after the counselling process for the NEET PG 2024. The committee has not officially announced the NEET PG 2024 Counselling, however seeing the past trend, the students can expect the counselling registration from the second week of September 2024.
The candidates who qualified in the NEET PG 2024 exam with the minimum cut-off percentile will be able to participate in the counselling and register themselves for counselling. The MCC will conduct the counselling for 50% of All India Quota seats, 100% of Central/Deemed Universities and AFMS.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Process
Candidates qualified in the NEET PG 2024 exam and wish to participate in the MCC counselling process for admission to PG courses for academic session 2024-25 should understand the following counselling process to avoid any error:
- Counselling Registration: The students should register on the MCC official website as per the schedule to be announced by the committee. After the registration, the candidates need to pay the counselling registration & tuition fees mentioned on the official website.
- Choice Filling: After the successful registration and fee payment, the candidates should lock their choices of the participating colleges they wish to enrol in their preference order on the official website within the given time.
- Seat Allotment: After the choice-filling option closes, the MCC will declare the seat allotted in round 1 depending on your NEET PG 2024 rank and chosen college seat matrix. Candidates who make it to the seat allotment list can accept the seat or reject the seat to move to the next round of counselling.
- Report to allotted Institute: Candidates happy with the allotted seats should report to the allotted medical institute to complete all the admission formalities with original documents and self-attested copies of the documents.
The NEET PG 2024 counselling will have four rounds- Round 1, Round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round for NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates.
NEET PG 2024 Counselling Fee
As we have mentioned before, the candidates who wish to participate in the NEET PG 2024 counselling should register and pay the registration fee & security deposit to ensure their candidature for the counselling.
The candidates need to pay the following registration and security deposit based on the type of institute they are applying for and the category they belong to:

Important Note:
- The security deposit is a refundable fee, so if the candidates were not allotted any seat in the counselling the security deposit will be refunded to the candidate’s account.
- The registration fee and security deposit can change as the MCC has not revealed any official details yet.

- Next, upload the documents required to support your reservation claim, NEET PG 2024 Score.
- Next, pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit through your preferred method.
- Next, save or download the submitted NEET PG 2024 counselling registration form for future use.
