The Medical Counselling Committee has unveiled the NEET UG counselling schedule on the official website; registration begins on 14 August 2024. NEET UG Counselling 2024

The MCC has announced the NEET UG 2024 counselling dates for All India Quota(15%)/All AIIMS institute/Deemed/ Central Universities/JIPMER for the MBBS /BDS/ B.Sc Nursing aspiring candidates who have scored well in the NEET 2024 examinations. 

According to the announcement, the committee will conduct four rounds ( Round 1, Round 2,  Round 3/ Mop-up Round, Round 4/Online Stray Vacancy Round) on 30th October 2024 across various medical colleges in the country. The authority has not released the seat matrix for the NEET UG counselling at the various colleges.

The candidates who participated and cleared the NEET 2024 exam must register on the MCC to participate in the UG admission counselling. NEET UG Counselling Process 2024

The NEET 2024 qualifying candidates who wish to participate in the NEET UG counselling to enrol in their desired participating medical colleges must understand the following counselling process:

• Counselling Registration: The eligible candidates willing to participate in the NEET UG 2024 Counselling round must register on the MCC official site and pay the applicable counselling fee.
• Choice Filling Form: After registering for the NEET UG counselling, the candidates should fill out the choice filling form with their preferred colleges and courses in their preferred order in the given timeframe. 
• Seat Allotment Processing: After the candidates lock their choices on the MCC portal for the NEET UG counselling, the authorities and colleges will verify the details.
• Seat allotment Result: The counselling seat allotment result will be released on the MCC site based on the NEET 2024 merit and seat availability in the participating & preferred colleges. The candidates have multiple choices after the seat allotment result –  they can accept, go to the next round, upgrade their seats or reject the seat.
• College Reporting:  Candidates who accept the allotted seat must report to the allotted colleges for document verification and lock the seat by completing the admission process. If the candidates fail to report to the allotted institute, the allotted seats and candidature of the candidate will be cancelled.

How to register for the NEET UG Counselling 2024?

Candidates willing to register for the NEET UG 2024 counselling process can follow the below steps and complete their online registration:

• Go to the official MCC site at
• Now, navigate to the candidate’s corner and click the Registration tab.
• Next, select the NEET UG 2024 Counselling and click New Registration.
• Next, enter your NEET 2024 roll number, password, security pin, and create a password.
• Next, the login credentials for the MCC portal will be generated.
• Next, log into the MCC portal and access the NEET UG Counselling registration form. 
• Next, enter all the required details on the application form, such as basic details, NEET 2024 results, educational qualifications, etc.
• Next, upload the passport-size photograph and signature along with other relevant documents as per the MCC instructions.
• Next, come to the payment section and pay the applicable NEET UG Counselling registration fee.
• After the successful transaction, you will get the registration confirmation on the website. 
• You must download or take a printout of the submitted NEET UG 2024 counselling registration form for future use in the counselling process. 

The NEET UG counselling for the academic year 2024-25 will finally commence on 14 August 2024, the candidates are advised to complete their registration on time to participate in the counselling.
